Q. Who the heck are you, anyway?
A. I answer to many names, the most common being Jazz, Jes, Affinite, and "Hey you!"
Q. Who is Damian, Data, and the Bum?
A. Damian is my fiance who I have been living with for the past couple of years. Data is my best friend and room mate who was nice enough to drive fourteen hours in one day in order to bring us into her apartment so that we could live in her room.
Bum is another name for Damian. Sometimes it is used more than his real name.
Q. Is this a journal about ferrets?
A. No.
Q. Do you have ferrets?
A. I did once, but found new homes for them when I moved. I have not kept ferrets for over a year. Now there are chinchillas and a bunny in the house, and we are looking into adopting rats.
Q. WTF? Why the name, then?
A. Exactly.
Q. Are you some kind of writer?
A. Yes. I enjoy writing fiction as a hobby, and you will be hearing a lot about that here.
Q. Are you an artist?
A. Not in the visual sense, except for my dabbling in photography, but I do consider writing to be an art. Most of the artwork in my user icons was done by my friend Renee, who is kind enough to illustrate my stories. Like her work, most of the drawings I post here are done by talented friends of mine, and I tend to mention their names somewhere in the post.
Q. Is this a doll journal?
A. Not really, but I am rather fond of dolls, so they may be mentioned frequently.
Q. OMG!11!! Do you like anime and videogames!?1? b/c I luv anime! let's talk about Naruto!
A. ...Yes, I like certain anime and video games, but I wont just watch anything that comes out of Japan. If you want to talk anime or games, I'm all for it, but please keep in mind that there are many popular series out there that I don't care for, and I will make fun of them mercilessly.
And for the record,"n00b-speak" is the visual equivalent of fingernails on the chalkboard to me. Refrain from using it if you want me to talk to you.
